When I started my page @nowitsclean on TikTok back in 2021, I had no idea it would turn into a full-fledged media company. I didn’t know millions of people would watch my videos and find my raspy voice-overs comforting. I certainly didn’t know I’d end up working with the biggest cleaning brands, walking red carpets, or landing a recurring gigs as a Home and Lifestyle expert on National TV.
To think that my life literally changed the day that I started posting videos on the internet and that would lead me to incredible opportunities – it has been an incredible ride! I loved fostering a community of “clean-thusiasts.” I loved going into labs with scientists to understand why products work, and then breaking that down for you so you could overcome your biggest cleaning woes.

Cleaning is how I entered the conversation, and I am so proud of that. But if I’m being honest, staying only in that box is limiting.
Protecting My Peace
The world of “CleanTok” has changed. It shifted towards a lot of rage-bait and over-the-top hoarding videos. While that’s provocative to watch, it’s not my cup of tea.
On top of that, the algorithms started to get to me. I found myself in my feelings, concerned for my mental health, feeling the pressure to feed a machine that demands constant, specific content just to stay relevant. I realized I was pouring all my energy into a platform I didn’t own. I have lost tens of thousands of followers and it has really gotten to me.
Why a Blog?

I know having a blog in this day and age might seem antiquated. You might be thinking, who reads blogs anymore? Substack is really having a moment right now. I’m excited to express myself in print. God knows I am so out of practice.
But here is the reality: Social media is rented land. Artificial intelligence has entered the chat. It’s picking up speed and changing this social media world rapidly.
And with the potential TikTok ban looming and platforms constantly changing their rules, I realized I needed to build something that was mine. I needed a Hub. A place where I can go deeper than a 60-second clip allows. A place that isn’t dependent on whether an algorithm decides to show you my post today.
This blog is my own real estate. It allows me to be a Storyteller—which is what I have always been at heart. I’m looking forward to getting back into writing again.
The New Ecosystem
So, what does this mean for the content? It means expansion.
- The Hub (This Website): This is where you will find my written content, deeper thoughts, and resources you can come back to anytime.
- Short Form: I will continue making short-form videos for social media.
- YouTube: I am incredibly excited about this launch. I have been documenting my life all year—filming my behind-the-scenes, the travel, and the candid conversations —and I can’t wait to share that long-form storytelling with you.
Accountability 2.0
Welcome to my platform which I hope you’ll come back to often.
Rest assured, Now It’s Clean isn’t disappearing. You will still see cleaning videos, articles, blog posts because, let’s be honest, I still have a house to maintain!
When I was posting cleaning videos, we had a silent agreement: I provided the motivation, and you used it to get your home in order. It was about accountability.
I am using this new space to do the exact same thing, just for a different part of our lives.
We are going to talk about Self-Care, Wellness, Business, Travel, Relationships, and Financial Security.
I am currently on a journey to get out of my own way, to figure out exactly what I want, and to do the things required to live a happy and fulfilled life.
I don’t want you to just sit on the sidelines and watch me. I want this to be a place where we hold each other accountable for living fully. We only have one life to live, and we deserve to have it all. But that requires taking risks, being audacious, and sometimes being a little delusional in our quest for what we want.
If that aligns with you, I’m so happy you’re here. Let’s do this!
