One thing about me, I love a good cleaning gadget. While I believe that you don’t have to overcomplicate things when it comes to cleaning, I admit that I geek out when I see a new tool designed to make cleaning easy.

I recently stopped by The Good Stuff with Mary Berg to share the latest finds I have my eye on for 2026. From the new quiet air purifier to the latest smart mop, here is the cleaning tech on my radar this year.

1. The Air Quality Hero: Dyson HushJet Air Purifier

What it is:

Dyson’s newest air purifier designed to project clean air further (“Jet”) while remaining virtually silent (“Hush”).

Why it’s worth checking out:

If you’re like me and are concerned about the air quality in your home, you might be contemplating getting an air purifier.  Thankfully, there are a lot to choose from a variety of different price points. The Dyson HushJet quietly cleans the air of allergens and pollutants and is quiet enough to run in your bedroom, kitchen or office.

I tested this unit and I like the sleek design – it looks like a jet engine, the colorway and the fact that you can barely hear this machine hard at work.  Plus, if you connect your unit to the Dyson App you’ll get more in-depth readings and can control the unit right from your phone. Lastly, I like that the hepa filter lasts for up to 5 years.  Major win!

2. The Pet Hair Destroyer: Dyson V16 Piston Animal

What it is:

The latest evolution of the cordless vacuum, featuring the “Piston” motor for sustained suction and an “Animal” grade brush bar.

Why it’s worth checking out:

If you’re a pet parent and have a shedding dog or cat, having a great vacuum is a mandatory. I like this model has upgraded suction power that can pull dander out of deep carpets, and the anti-tangle technology means you never have to cut hair off the brush roll with scissors again.

I appreciate that this model comes with a stand which makes it easy to access all the additional vacuum attachment which allows you to use your vacuum to clean your floors, soft surfaces, your car and more.

3. The Smarter Mop: Vileda / O-Cedar H2O Pro Flat Mop

What it is:

A flat mop system that features a dual-chamber bucket to physically separate clean water from dirty water.

Why it’s worth checking out:

This fixes the biggest problem with mopping: recycling dirt. Usually, after one dip, you are just pushing dirty water back onto your floor. This system ensures you are rinsing your mop pad with fresh H2O every single time, giving you a truly streak-free finish.

I’ve been a fan of the EasyWring Mop and the RinseClean Mop systems and I’m really excited about this H20Pr0.  It’s compact, easy to use and you can use it to clean everything from your floors to your walls.

4. The Stain Eraser: Tineco Go Spot

What it is:

A portable, cordless spot cleaner designed to tackle those “ghost” stains that appear out of nowhere on your rugs and upholstery.

Why it’s worth checking out:

It’s the “grab and go” convenience. You don’t have to unwind a cord or drag out a heavy carpet cleaner just because a glass of wine spilled.

This stain buster makes it so easy to clean up messes.  It’s lightweight and powerful and oh so satisfying to use.  Make sure to apply the cleaning solution, allowing it to sit on the stain for a period of time and then all the spot scrubber to do it’s thing.

5. The Dotti Best Broom and Dustpan

What it is:

A broom and dustpan set that is actually aesthetically pleasing enough to leave out in the kitchen.

Why it’s worth checking out:

Dotti has redesigned the typical broom and dustpan with this aesthetically pleasing design.  Made of high performance silicone, you can use the broom to sweep up both dry and wet messes. Love that!

You can adjust the pole length to whatever is most comfortable and the dust pan has a convenient foothold, so less bending. Plus, the broom head is removable making it easy to clean.

If you’re a pet parent, I would suggest using this on your rugs to remove pet pair that vacuums often can’t pull up.
